David Tipp

Professional Background

In 1977 I went into the Real Estate business with my father Malcolm Tipp. I grew up in Los Angeles but found the lifestyle of Northern California more to my liking. My father was an energetic and fun broker and I’ve attempted to emulate his style, although am perhaps a bit more relaxed. In 1981 I received my Brokers license and was one of the youngest brokers in California at that time.

It has been nearly 39 years and I love Vallejo and Northern California and consider it to be one of the greatest locations in the State and Country. In 1991 we opened our second office, Tipp Realty at Glen Cove that I own and manage. I enjoy being able to run my own company and have a unique office of agents that work as a team to deliver superior service to clients. We are a great group of successful agents that are conscientious, detail oriented, and wonderful negotiators that work on our client’s behalf. I’m also graced with many new and repeat clients!

Over the years I have served on various committees and boards including the Solano Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors and Political Action Committee, City of Vallejo Housing and Redevelopment Commission.

I am a current member of the Solano Association of REALTORS®, California Association of REALTORS®, National Association of REALTORS® and Certified Commercial Investment Member.

In my off time I enjoy traveling and remaining close to family. I also enjoy gardening, small home improvement projects and tinkering with classic cars, a pastime that I inherited from my father.
